Bajowing in SALTA, Argentina

Since I have been giving people information about my Salta trip in Spring, 2010, I figured it might be time to release it to the rest of the world. So here is my account of the amazing things I did over spring break with three wonderful friends, a lot of torrontes wine, and a dusty but reliable silver vehicle that had one CD - Rasta James 2002.

First, let's take care of the Itinerary, Driving Plan and Budget. Then we'll go in detail about all of the different locations (in the next blog post).

Itinerary is simple: it outlines a basic checklist and where we went, where we stayed, etc. The driving plan will only work if you are driving yourself. This is best because you can choose to stop when it's convenient for you and you can take different routes depending on your time schedule. I suggest stopping at all of the places we did and getting a small guide book to help figure out where you're going (he lonely planet Salta Region guide book is great! and there's also a good chapter on Salta in the Lonely Planet Argentina book as well. Both have decent maps, although I provide maps in this as well!)
